Graphic Designer Catherine Aurelio

 

Peridot Productions is thrilled to have graphic designer Catherine Aurelio on our team. Catherine has an unparalleled knack for designing websites, print materials and trade show booths that exude each client’s style and message.

 

Catherine’s talents added power and artistic interest to the website for Merlin Securities, a prime brokerage firm. Catherine designed the navigation bar to mimic the ups and downs of the stock market. This clever effect is subtle but representative of the business’s trading, reporting, and other market-related services. She developed a cohesive look and feel for all of Merlin Securities’ collateral to further sharpen the firm’s image.

 

For Northern California Grantmakers, Catherine found the innovative, imaginative image of a dandelion in the wind to represent the non-profit’s effectiveness and wide reach. Dandelion seeds blowing in all directions portray Northern California Grantmakers’ extensive spread of goodwill. This visual is far from the ordinary graphics used for non-profit organizations, yet its meaning is clear and impactful.

 

The key to Catherine’s success is a combination of experience and artistic skill. Catherine has worked in print and web media as well as photography and film for almost 20 years. She also offers a well-developed understanding of branding and marketing. In addition to her education at the School of Visual Arts in New York City and her degree in Photography from Arizona State University, she has earned a Marketing degree from the University of California Santa Cruz.

 

Our Managing Director, Jennifer Baum, incorporates Catherine’s input from the start of a project. After Jenn learns her client’s goals, she sets up a separate brainstorming meeting with Catherine. The two pull from their collective marketing, design and production experiences to come up with just the right solution.
